On Tuesday October 21st over 300 people joined in the ballroom of the Holiday Inn Vana Nava Hua Hin for the kick-off party launching the “We Love Hua Hin” campaign and the Banyan Thailand’s Privilege Club.
We Love Hua Hin is a collaborative destination marketing initiative that will make it even more rewarding for guests to take a domestic vacation on Thailand’s glittering gulf coast.
The launch event was attended by key stakeholders and official dignitaries, including Mr. Panlop Singhaseni, Governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Ms. Soraya Homchuen, Director for Hua Hin and Cha Am with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), and Mr. Tjeert Kwant, CEO of Banyan Thailand.
We Love Hua Hin pulls together tourism and hospitality providers in Hua Hin, and Prachuap Khiri Khan province to create a complete visitor experience that incorporates luxurious hospitality, health and wellness, dining, leisure attractions and sporting activities.
The theme, initiated by Banyan Thailand, builds further on the Banyan Privilege Club, that connects members, who are mainly domestic consumers, and partners who include celebrated brands such as InterContinental, Centara, Anantara, Hyatt Regency, Chiva-Som, V Villas, True Arena, Holiday Inn, Vana Nava Waterpark, Banyan Golf Club and more, with exclusive offers and promotions to suit every type of traveller.
Residents in Thailand can book a break at Banyan Village, an exclusive community nestled in the scenic countryside just 2.5 hours’ drive from Bangkok, or at one of the world-class hotels and resorts of the Privilege partners. Attractive packages, such as “Stay and Play” which includes villa accommodation and golf at the award-winning Banyan Golf Club, or at one of the partners, are on offer for golf lovers or ones who would like to try their hand at the game. Banyan Village is an ideal destination for Thai nationals and expats seeking a “home-away-from-home” experience. Every guest is entitled to a free membership of the Banyan Privilege Club, offering a wealth of attractive offers in and around Hua Hin.
For example, sports enthusiasts can tee-off at Banyan Golf Club, an 18-hole championship course, or take professional lessons at The Golf Academy. For those who prefer tennis or water-sports, the Banyan Privilege Club has promotions with many partners. Wellness seekers can enjoy special half- or full-day treatment packages at the world-leading retreat Chiva-Som. Health-conscious visitors are also entitled to a special registration fee at the Be Well medical centre, Banyan Thailand’s onsite clinic.
Fun escapes can be found with 15 percent off day passes at the Vana Nava Water Park, along with promotions such as tennis at True Arena. Moreover, social guests and gourmands can discover benefits at a wide range of restaurants and beach clubs, including many of Hua Hin’s leading hotels and resorts.
“We are delighted to launch the We Love Hua Hin campaign, along with the TAT and our esteemed local partners. It has not been an easy year for the tourism industry, but it is heart-warming to see the community coming together and collaborating in support of our beautiful destination which offers so much of what makes Thailand a global leading tourist destination,” said Mr. Tjeert Kwant, CEO of Banyan Group.
“We all have our personal reasons to love Hua Hin, and it is a pleasure to express them with our members, partners and other businesses – as well as of course the government and the TAT in the greater Hua Hin region. This sense of mutual co-operation will help us to grow stronger and speed our recovery. With so many activities and attractions to discover, all within a short 2.5-hour drive of Bangkok, we look forward to showcasing the very best of Thai tourism and hospitality to new and returning visitors alike.”
