This highly anticipated event has become a cherished tradition for residents, and one of the highlights of the Hua Hin social scene. The gates opened at 12:30, inviting attendees to indulge in welcome drinks, a delectable lunch, shopping opportunities, engaging games, and, of course, the chance to socialize with both familiar and new faces.

The day included the traditional Fashion Show on Horseback which captivated onlookers as Thailand’s glitterati displayed their impeccable style while riding gracefully on their steeds.
One of the highlights of the day was the exhilarating horse racing. As the horses galloped at full speed, the cheers of the spectators rose in anticipation, knowing that the winning horse and its rider would secure not only a trophy and cash prize but also enviable bragging rights for the entire year.
The main event of course was beach polo with teams from Thailand, Hong Kong, Belgium, and Macau competing. In the end it was the Macau team emerging victorious, defeating Belgium with a score of 5 to 3.
With polo concluded, the festivities moved to the grass lawn of the InterContinental as the hotel hosted an elegant White Gardens themed dinner party by the sea. Guests enjoyed a sumptuous menu which included a barbecue of fresh seafood and premium meats, all accompanied by the melodious tunes of the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra.
An evening auction featured exquisite works of art that were bid on, with all the money raised donated to the Nabha Foundation, part of the royal initiative led by Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha. The funds will be used to support male and female inmates in prison, providing them with career opportunities and fostering their athletic talents, with the goal of reintegrating them back into society with love and support.
In its 12th year, the beach polo tournament has become the biggest and only beach polo equestrian competition in Asia. The event not only advances the recognition of polo as a world-class sport in Thailand but also bolsters the image of Hua Hin and Thailand as a whole, drawing attendees and tourists from across the globe.
