The highly anticipated TOP25 Restaurants Bangkok Awards 2024, presented by the visionary team at Travelindex, unveiled an extraordinary collection of the city’s finest dining establishments, each a testament to the unwavering passion and innovation that have firmly established Bangkok as a global gastronomic powerhouse.
Leading the charge is POTONG, a Thai-Chinese fine dining gem helmed by the inimitable Chef Pichaya “Pam” Soontornyanakij. Blending traditional flavors with a contemporary flair, POTONG’s sophisticated menu and impeccable service have earned it the coveted top spot. Hot on its heels is Côte by Mauro Colagreco, where Chef Davide Garavaglia’s Mediterranean-inspired creations have dazzled discerning palates at the stunning Capella hotel.
The culinary landscape of Bangkok continues to evolve, and this year’s rankings reflect the city’s dynamic culinary scene. Baan Tepa, the newcomer with two Michelin stars, secured the third position, showcasing Chef Tam Chudaree Debhakam’s masterful interpretation of modern Thai cuisine. Meanwhile, the internationally acclaimed SORN, helmed by Chef Ice, captivated diners with its unmatched exploration of Southern Thai flavors, earning the fourth spot.

The awards ceremony, held at the luxurious Park Hyatt Bangkok, was a celebration of the city’s culinary prowess. Each of the top 25 restaurants was presented with a distinguished certificate, personally handed over by esteemed industry leaders, Mr. Chattan Kunjara Na Ayudhya, Deputy Governor for International Marketing (Asia and South Pacific) at the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), and Mr. Noor Ahmad Hamid, Chief Executive Officer of the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA).
In a nod to the industry’s rising stars and innovative trailblazers, the TOP25 Restaurants Special Awards were also introduced. The Restaurant Industry Innovation Award was presented to PerfectCheck, while Chef Goji Kobayashi of Sushi Kuuya was honored as the Young Rising Star Chef. The Culinary Heritage Excellence Award went to the iconic North Restaurant, a testament to Bangkok’s enduring gastronomic legacy.
