This past month there were few places hotter in Thailand than the Grand Opening Party at Em Quartier on the 27th of March. Developed by the Mall Group, Em Quartier is across the street from the Emporium shopping mall, another Iconic Mall Group property and both are connected via a sky-bridge. The party marked the inauguration of this extraordinary complex and attracted the attention of a massive multitude of media and fashionistas.
This exceptional fashion centre opened through a collaboration of more than four hundred leading brands in the industry of fashion, design and cosmetics and is the pinnacle to what has started to become one of the world’s most influential fashion hubs. To commemorate this, the opening celebrations will last four months in which an array of themes will be embodied in extravagant and stylish festivities.
The organisers have made sure that nothing is left unattended and have allocated a budget of five hundred million baht to cover the preparations of the events. From the 27th of March till the 31st of July you will be able to experience three distinct periods of societal concepts: Fashion Extraordinaire, Dining Extraordinaire and World Extraordinaire.
Fashion Extraordinaire kicked off this past March with a mammoth fashion parade featuring well over two hundred models. The performances were held across an array of locations, including the Quartier Gallery, M Floor and The Em Quartier.
The Em Quartier collaborated with the world’s most recognised brands in order to dress the models for their high-energy fashion show. Top designers included Louis Vuittion, Chanel, Dior, Prada, Cartier, Dolce & Gabbana, Celine, Fendi, Gucci, Valentino, Chloe, Loewe, Miu Miu, Salvatore Ferragamo, Burberry Emporio Armani, Club 21 and many more.
Dignitaries present included the upper management of The Mall Group led by Khun Supaluck Umpujh, Krissada Umpujh, Paibul Kanokwattanawan and Kreignsak Tanthiphipop. They were joined by a multitude of business partners, owners, retailers, celebrities, executive managers, socialites and media.
Across The Em Quartier’s four thousand square metres you will find an array of fashion stores cherry picked from across the world to satisfy the desires of even the most discerning shoppers.
To keep the Grand Opening excitement going, Em Quartier will be giving away up to thirty million baht in cash rewards as well as stylish cars and luxury abodes. Shoppers can enter to win by making purchases of at least two thousand baht. The contest lasts until the 31st of July.
The Mall Group are also the owners of Bangkok’s seriously impressive Siam Paragon and are partners with Proud Real Estate in Hua Hin’s new Blu Port Shopping Mall currently under construction and with a completion date set for later next year. Judging from the Mall Group’s list of amazing properties, we in Hua Hin have something very special to look forward to.
