I have heard so much about Hua Hin being one of the premier beach getaway and a popular destination in Asia Pacific for golfers with a very interesting history. What do you like least about your profession?
I would say the fact that I have to leave each city after a few years of living and knowing all the people. Even though I enjoy exploring different places around the world, but it can be difficult and sadden to depart and keep moving to new places every 3 to 4 years which is a nature of hoteliers.
What do you like most about Hua Hin?
Obviously, Hua Hin is a family-friendly destination with a lovely community. Another appealing aspect is the beautiful scenery with so many attractions and activities throughout the year.
What is your favorite restaurant and why?
As I have been in Hua Hin less than a month, I still need to discover more restaurants and local food in Hua Hin to find out which one is my favourite.
What do you like to do in your free time and why?
I have been trying to pick up my golfing skill, as I am now living in this city with several world class golf courses. I also like to do some jogging along the beach and sometime I join the 10 km running events. Another thing that I enjoy is to bring my two daughters, Leah (10 years old) and Anya (6 years old) out for some outdoor activities, whenever I have the opportunity.
What would you recommend to new-comers to do in Hua Hin and why?
I would encourage the new-comers including myself to get to know the community as much as possible especially during the first few months in Hua Hin. This is because I believe that once we know the people and places, it would be much more fun to live and enjoy this beautiful city while working here.
