How long have you lived in Hua Hin or been coming to Hua Hin?
I used to work in Hua Hin about eight years ago in the hospitality field. Then I moved to Bangkok for four years. During that period, I regularly visit Hua Hin, at least once a month, since I have a home here in Hua Hin.
What did you know about Hua Hin before you moved here?
I knew that it is a quiet and charming city with a very beautiful and peaceful beach, not too far from Bangkok.
What do you like most about your profession?
To provide the best Thai hospitality service to guests from all around the world. I like taking care of them, making them feel at home by providing excellent service, especially when travelling from other countries.
What do you like least about your profession?
Any form circumstance that could affect the tourism business in our country, i.e. political situation
What do you like most about Hua Hin?
I like everything here in Hua Hin; quiet and peaceful, not so much traffic (of course, if it’s not on a weekend). But what’s most important is that Hua Hin is the living city of our beloved king, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
What is your favourite restaurant and why? (Please don’t promote your own restaurants.)
Besides our newly refurbished restaurant by the beach, Shoreline Beach Club, I would like to share my secret place – it’s Mamma Mia restaurant, a good place for pizza and steak.
What do you like to do in your free time and why?
I like spending a quality time with my family, especially my little, 15-month-old daughter, Kathy. I enjoy taking them out for local sightseeing.
What would you recommend to newcomers to do in Hua Hin and why?
Depending on what they like, we do have many attractions to recommend to guests, such as Vana Nava, Hua Hin Vineyard, Wat Huay Mongkol temple and the new, upcoming shopping complex, Blu Port.
Tell us a surprising fact that the public might not know about you?
I graduated with two master’s degrees when I was only 25 years old.
What is the most outlandish thing you have ever done and why?
This is such a difficult question, but the most exciting thing I ever did was skydiving. I jumped off a plane with my wing commander, who was a relative of mine.
