On September 28th at the Amari Resort in Kho Takiab, Hua Hin’s own Diva, Khun Lizzy held her bi-monthly Multi Cultural Dinner to an excited full house. There was a full list of VIP’s for the evening that included Mrs. Connie Heinecke, Edwin Wiek, the Founder and Director of the Wildlife Friends Foundation, Jaco Kleinloog from Rescue Paws, Jonas Glud and his wife Khun Phueng from Dream Estates and the Labu Development and Khun Lek, owner of Coco 51 and the Mekong Café.
The famous Lady and Boy Show Group from Bangkok entertained guests along with the kids from Power of Love’s Children’s home who performed a dance routine which they did as a thank you for all who have donated to their home.
Hua Hin’s “Host with the Most”, Brian Anderson was on hand once again to MC the evening and keep everyone chuckling like only Brian can do.
Multi Culti’s favorite Band Deja Vu with Maria & Chris were there to provide the dancing music and everyone was pleased to see Lorenz Lopena back playing with them after his terrible car accident.
If you have never been to an MCC event and wonder why it is so popular, it is because it is a very fun evening with great food, music and dancing along with plentiful drink. It is also a great way to meet other Hua Hin expats AND it is a charitable event. Over 30,000 baht was raised from raffle ticket sales during the evening with the money going to Power of Love’s new Children’s Home.
The lucky raffle winners of the night won prizes donated from Chiva Som, The Hyatt Regency & their Barai Spa, the Centara Grand, The Dusit, Putahracsa, His & Her Salon and others.
The next Multi Culti dinner will take place on November 28th. For more information contact Khun Lizzy at lizzy.huahin@mycity-thailand.com.
