What is your full name and age?
My full name is Dr. Jit – Sirikorn Nortim. For me, age and numbers are not limitations, but rather the accumulation of confidence and experience. I am proud to be the happiest version of myself right now…
What is your current occupation?
I am an executive and social strategist. I manage Im-Ok Im-Jai Pranburi Seafood & Cafe, Pranburi Cabana Resort, and serve as the President of the Thai Restaurant and Street Food Association, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, and the Chairperson of the Network of 8 Provinces in the Central West Region. I combine my doctoral degree and my experience as a champion chef to drive business and improve the lives of people in my hometown community.
What do you like most about your career?
I think it’s proving that “potential has no limits.” I love how my role inspires modern women to be proud of themselves, no matter their body shape or profession. If we have knowledge and clear goals, we can be modern and internationally recognized leaders.
How long have you lived in Pranburi, and where did you live before that?
Pranburi is my cherished heritage. Although my lifestyle involves constant travel, staying up-to-date with global trends, and enjoying a modern life, the destination where I want to dedicate my knowledge and abilities is Pranburi. I want to transform Pranburi into a landmark that perfectly blends local charm with modern elements.
What do you like most about Pranburi?
I love the “sincerity” of the local people. Pranburi has everything that enhances the beauty of nature: a private, peaceful, and clean beach, the freshest seafood from local fishermen, and pure air. It teaches us to be beautiful from within and to be proud of what we have.
What is your favorite restaurant?
I have to say “Im-ok Im-jai Pranburi Seafood & Cafe”! Because I create the menu, and every dish is based on an understanding of consumer physiology and excellent health. Every dish is delicious and nutritious. I want everyone who dines here to feel proud of the specially selected food, prepared with care, and to enjoy a high-quality dining experience.
What is your favorite restaurant for special occasions?
I recommend private dining at Pranburi Cabana Resort. They utilize the skills of nationally renowned chefs to create amazing menus, both in appearance and taste. For special occasions, we deserve the best, reflecting our taste and success. Therefore, for me, this is the perfect answer.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy “endless learning,” whether it’s staying updated on fashion trends, management skills, conducting fieldwork for new information, or participating in charitable activities. I believe that modern women are those who are dynamic and know how to transform stress into positive energy.
Where would you recommend first-time visitors go and experience Pranburi?
I want everyone to experience the lifestyle of the fishermen. This will show them the origins of the food I serve at my restaurant. Then you’ll understand that true luxury is being close to nature and eating food made from pristine, natural ingredients, delivered with genuine care.
On nights out with friends, where do you like to go?
Places where we can unleash our inner modern woman, exchange ideas with friends, boost our confidence, and recharge for the big day ahead.
Tell us a surprising fact that the public may not know about you?
People often think that being overweight or curvy might be uncomfortable, but for me, I use my body shape as a source of happiness. I can work hard, go into the field, and brave the sun and wind with the local people with great energy. I turn every questioning gaze into admiration for my abilities.
What’s the strangest thing you’ve ever done?
It’s turning body shaming into immense motivation. I chose not to be thin according to societal norms, but instead chose to be more talented, more modern, and more successful, to the point where everyone accepts me for who I am. Being a doctor, the president of an association supporting charitable organizations, and a beautiful mother is the clearest answer to my question.
