I am the owner and founder of Cheers Wine Bar, located next to the Hilton in the center of Hua Hin.
How long have you lived in Hua Hin or been coming to Hua Hin?
I have been living in Hua Hin for approximately six years.
What did you know about Hua Hin before you moved here?
I was told that It had nice beaches, beautiful restaurants, and stunning golf courses.
What do you like most about your profession?
Meeting people from Thailand and other parts of the world. I feel good when my customers are having a good time and hopefully they have enjoyed their wine journey at Cheers.
What do you like least about your profession?
Can’t think of a thing, I love what I do.
What do you like most about Hua Hin?
I love the relaxed beachy lifestyle and the people that are drawn to it. I love the sound of the waves and the feeling of sand between my toes when walking along the beach with family and good friends.
What is your favorite restaurant and why?
My favourite restaurant is Air Space in Koh Takiab because they offer good food and impeccable service. Air Space built the building for their restaurant and it is very unique. They have a coffee shop next door that’s quite good also.
What do you like to do in your free time and why?
I love to golf and I love spending time on the beach. You will find me at either place, depending on the weather.
What would you recommend to new-comers to do in Hua Hin and why?
I would recommend new-comers to visit the beach, restaurants and if they are a wine lover to visit Cheers Wine Bar for a great wine experience. Also, check out our variety of night markets, they make for a great evening.
Tell us a surprising fact that the public might not know about you?
I am a qualified nurse, I have two amazing daughters, and I have 11 dogs which makes me a dog lover.
What is the most outlandish thing you have ever done and why?
About five years ago, I jumped out of a plane for the first time. It was the thrill of my life.
