Let’s Stay – The Holiday Inn Bangkok

    July 15, 2016Updated:July 21, 20164 Mins Read

The Holiday Inn Bangkok is one of the best choices any traveler can make if being at the right place at the right time is a priority. Balancing out the pros and the cons is an easy task as it is only the pros that heavily weigh down the scale. This applies to both business and leisure travelers wanting to make the most of their stay in Bangkok, whichever category they fall into, the Holiday Inn seems like the inevitable right choice to make.

The hotel lies at the heart of Sukhumvit, on the corner of soi 22, a short walking distance to the Asoke and Phrompong BTS skytrain stations which connect you to all of the important corners of the bustling city, including Rama IV Road, Perchanuri Road and both the Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueng Airports. The local area is filled with exclusive boutiques and tailors, delicious dining spots, temples, and the finest shopping malls; Terminal 21, EmQuartier, Emporium and EmSphere complex which carry over 1000 world class brands in the sectors of dining, fashion, and technology. The area is also blessed with major global companies, regional offices and Bangkok’s famous world class Hospitals, Samitivej and Bumrungrad catering their services to medical tourists from all over the world.

The Holiday Inn hotel consists of 300 guest rooms decorated with a pleasant modern design, including its beautiful suites within the iconic 29-storey tower. The wide range of facilities makes the Holiday Inn an advantageous choice while in the city. These include, 24-hour room service, laundry and pressing service, concierge service, free Wi-Fi connection throughout all hotel premises, an ergonomic work space, universal power sockets, premium TV channels, refreshing rain shower, iPod docks and safety boxes in all the rooms, an 800 square meter meeting center, a tropical outdoor pool, a relaxing sun deck, a gym open throughout the day and night, and two restaurants within the hotel which add the icing on the cake; the Zeta Café and Maya Restaurant and Rooftop Bar.

The Zeta Café is located by the pool and caters to an international pallet with a great variety of food selections. In addition to its menu, and its buffets, these come with a special promotion offering a family dining package for two adults and two children for all the buffets offered at the venue. Succulent Seafood Sundays at the Zeta Café serves an incredible selection of delicious seafood that ranges from oysters to black shell mussels and rock lobsters to incredible tiger prawns pleasing every member of the family. The Weekdays Dinner Buffet allows customers to embark on global culinary journeys by bringing to the table cuisine from Italy, Mexico, Japan and even the Middle East to ensure every customer’s palette does not remain unexercised. Finally, the Zeta Café offers a Buffet BBQ Dinner which serves freshly barbecued grilled steaks complimented by a delicious and fresh array of salads, sushi, pasta and indulgent homemade desserts to top it all off.

The Maya Restaurant and Bar opened in July 2013 at the Holiday Inn and floats twenty-nine floors above Sukhumvit 22. With its astounding panoramic views of central Bangkok, it comprises of three unique and separate areas; Khana, Bara, and Sigara, which are united to create one fascinating entertainment destination.

The first, Khana, is a modern restaurant which serves food inspired by flavorful North Indian cuisine. The modern twist makes the food remarkable and it is presented in admirable hand crafted vessels. Its extraordinary signature dishes include Hare Nimbu Ki Jhings Machli which is tandoor grilled fresh lobster marinated with kaffir lime and yellow chilly, and Salmon Tikka, which is a bishop seed and yellow chilly spiked Norwegian salmon served with spicy prawns and a decadent mustard oil chutney.

The second, Bara, is an exclusive, modern, relaxed and vibrant bar which serves all of Maya’s signature cocktails as well as delicious bar snacks to let the alcohol settle in well, while a DJ and percussionist brings the space alive with some of the liveliest beats. And Third, Sigara, is an intimate outdoor roof deck cigar lounge, where customers can watch an uninterrupted Bangkok city scape unfold before them with the array of cigars presented in the menu paired with some of the world’s finest single malts.

Lobby LogoThe Holiday Inn Bangkok is the right choice. It has everything guests may desire within the hotel premises, and everything else guests may want, a couple of steps away. Next time you need to book a hotel for a business trip or a Bangkok holiday, it would be absurd not to opt for the Holiday Inn.
