    Let’s Stay, Hyatt Regency Phuket

    April 18, 20165 Mins Read

The Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort is an incredible five-star hotel that caters to the needs of all; lone travellers, families, couples and newlyweds looking for a getaway to indulge through the combination of the forever-marking Thai hospitality and the efficacy and efficiency of the west. This resort is located on the west coast of Phuket along the upscale Millionaire’s Mile, lying at the edge of one of the island’s steep hillsides, providing paradisiac views of the Kamala Cove and of the horizon that lays on the deep Andaman Sea.

Ocean View Pool KingThe resort welcomes you with a majestic open air lobby, the light ocean breeze and the friendly yet professional staff. Some of the rooms have an open concept too, where parts of the room and the bathrooms overlook the beauty of the exterior through large balconies overlooking the sea, jacuzzis or private dipping pools. There are four kinds of rooms; Standard, View, Deluxe and Club, in order of ranking. The Standard room is decorated with contemporary furnishings, includes a large balcony with a seating area. The bathroom has a tub and a shower separately. The room includes a bluetooth audio device, a flat screen TV and complimentary internet. The View room is very similar to the Standard; however, it boasts of incredible breathtaking panoramas of the ocean. The Deluxe and the lDeluxe Two Bedroomuxurious Club rooms have hardwood floors, and like the View room, have some amazing ocean views. These rooms include a dining area and a large shaded terrace with a daybed to read a book, meditate or simply breath in the beauty of the sea. Although there are notable differences from one room to the other, all of them are very spacious, luxurious, comfortable, and with striking aesthetic modern designs.

The Hyatt Regency Phuket also offers an array of diverse and delicious eateries. There is The Pool House overlooking the Kamala Cove, which is an all-day dining restaurant serving by the poolside which offers both the exotic local Thai dishes everybody can’t get enough of, and the Italian comfort food which may once in a while make us feel a little closer to home. This restaurant offers a Thai Night Dinner Buffet which gives guests a gift to the taste buds with the true taste of Thailand.

The Hyatt’s Pool Bar is famous for its relaxing Sunday brunches featuring a lavish array of delicacies from all over the world, as well as its variety of alcoholic beverages and exotic concoctions served throughout the evening. The Hyatt’s signature restaurant is called the Sunset Grill and it’s one of Phuket’s finest. Offering an indoor or outdoor dining experience the Grill focuses on daily sourced local sustainable products, fresh vegetables, seafood, seasonal selections and prime meats all served from its show kitchen. The Sunset Grill is perched high in the hills, at the top of the resort, providing breath taking views, especially as the sun sets in the distance.

The resort’s recreational amenities form an important part of the hotel. This includes one of Phuket’s largest private infinity pools to bask in the glory of being in a private space, but really feel the vastness of the ocean below as well as being in touch with the nature that surrounds the resort. The hotel has a children’s swimming pool and for those parents who want to take a little break from parenting during their holidays, there is a supervised play area with a foosball table and other games to entertain the younger.

Other amenities include a luxurious Club Lounge for Regency Club guests who can enjoy their very own infinity pool and a fully equipped fitness centre for guests who want to keep up with their health regime during their holiday as they would do, if they were back at home. Finally, the Regent Hyatt Hotel boasts of one of the most important Spas in all of Phuket, the Nahm Spa. It promises to rejuvenate and heal clients within, through the use of the ways and traditions of the sea gypsies that help you connect to the sea. The spa promises to revitalise, replenish and harmonize the body and the mind as the sea gypsies once would. Guests can enjoy all kinds of treatments, including body scrubs, massages, mani pedis in the Spa which features nine treatment rooms with views to the sea, and a large jacuzzi.

The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle bus service to the main Kamala beach on a fixed schedule from ten in the morning to six in the evening every day. Guests can easily use this transportation to go to the Kamala Beach and organize a day excursion from there in order to enjoy all the activities and all the adventures Phuket has to offer. One can go cave exploring, waterfall hunting, sightseeing, deep sea diving, and beach hopping. Although the Hyatt Regency Phuket will make one feel so well taken care of and pampered that a ride to Kamala Beach might not even be necessary!
