On Saturday January 28th Khun Lizzy, the Grande Dame of Hua Hin, held her famous MCC gala dinner at the Royal Dusit Hall within the confines of the 5 Star Hua Hin Dusit Thani Resort. Celebrating her 4th year of putting on the Multi Cultural Dinners, it was sadly announced that this would be her final one.
VIP Guests included Khun Rutprateeb Thammapipat Hua Hin District Chief who joined as the Governor’s representative & Khun Montri Choophoo, Deputy Lord Mayor of Hua Hin
Animal rights activist Edwin Wiek, founder of the Wildlife Friends Foundation, was celebrated as the Man of the Year for his work helping wild animals.
Highlights of the evening included a flag parade with 26 different flags representing all the nationalities that came together for the evening.
The Gala Dinner included the Dusit’s fabulous buffet, a free flow of wine and beer along with the music of Maria and Chris. Proceeds from the event were donated to the WFFT Wildlife Rescue Center.
