In a dazzling display of skill, style, and solidarity, the Queen’s Cup Pink Polo 2025 transformed Pattaya’s lush fields into an arena of empowerment and elegance last Saturday, the 22nd of February. The prestigious women’s charity polo tournament, hosted at the Thai Polo & Equestrian Club, concluded with Team Malaysia claiming victory over Team Thailand in an exhilarating final match.

Behind the tournament’s glamorous facade beats a heart of compassion. Organized by B.Grimm under the leadership of Mr. Harald Link, Chairman of B.Grimm and Thailand Equestrian Federation President, alongside Nunthinee Tanner, Vice President of the Thailand Equestrian Federation, the event channels its energy toward a critical cause: supporting The Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer Foundation.

“Pink Polo isn’t merely about competition,” explained Tanner, Thailand’s pioneering female polo player. “We’re creating a platform to equip women with life-saving knowledge about early screening while extending support to those battling breast cancer.” With passion evident in her voice, she added, “As a woman, I call upon all women to join forces in this meaningful movement.” Beyond its philanthropic mission, the tournament actively promotes female participation in polo, nurturing emerging talents and encouraging Thai players to shine on international fields.
Dr. Kris Chatamra, Founder and Chairman of the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer Foundation, delivered a sobering reminder that breast cancer remains the leading cause of death among Thai women. “Established in 2007, the Queen Sirikit Centre stands as Thailand’s first comprehensive treatment and research facility dedicated to breast cancer,” he noted. “Our mission extends from early diagnosis to compassionate palliative care for underprivileged patients, embodying Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother’s vision for women’s health.”

The day’s festivities began with the Asian Equestrian Federation Cup CSIJ-B Pattaya 2025, a regional show jumping competition that attracted riders from over 15 Asian nations. Attendees were treated to a sensory feast beyond the main polo action, with exclusive sponsor showcases including Royal Salute’s lavish exhibition space.

A parade of classic cars escorting competing teams onto the field captured the crowd’s attention, followed by a breathtaking horseback fashion show led by Nunthinee Tanner herself, accompanied by distinguished guest models who transformed the field into an equestrian runway.
Honoring polo tradition, spectators eagerly participated in the Stomping of the Divots, flattening the churned turf during halftime. This year’s ritual received an artistic elevation with Bing Han, Concertmaster of the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, delivering a mesmerizing violin performance that created a perfect soundtrack for this elegant interlude.

As the sun began its descent, the celebration culminated with the presentation of the Best Dressed, Best Hat, and Mr. Pink Polo Awards, celebrating attendees who embraced the event’s sophisticated pink aesthetic with particular flair.
Now in its 16th year, the Queen’s Cup Pink Polo has evolved into more than a sporting spectacle—it stands as a powerful testament to compassion, joy, and female strength. Through the combined passions for polo and philanthropy, the event perfectly embodied B.Grimm’s guiding principle of creating a better world through business with compassion.
