Let’s Stay, Veranda Resort Na Jomtien – MGallery

    June 30, 2022Updated:June 30, 20226 Mins Read

Whether you are looking for a weekend escape or an extended beach holiday, the greater Pattaya region offers an abundance of options. Pattaya City has long attracted visitors with its main beach and busy tourist strip. Venture across Pratamnuk Hill looking south, and the broad beach regions of Jomtien and Na Jomtien offer expansive, family and couple-friendly alternatives without the crowd.

On the crossover of these two Jomtien regions is Veranda Resort Na Jomtien – MGallery. Set on a quiet section of Na Jomtien beach, famed for its natural beauty and fishing heritage, this stylish, contemporary-designed resort is about enjoying a tropical “lifestyle by the sea”.

The ocean and seaside themes are evident as soon as you descend into the sunken Lobby, where an artistic vision of life under the sea presents. Overhead, the undulating bamboo ceiling hints at the rolling ocean waves, the immersed hulls of small wood boats bob on the waves, and giant manta rays glide along the surface. A long fountain pool and the sound of flowing water begin to ease the senses into a different rhythm, while mirrored tiles reflect dappled light like sunshine dancing on the waves. Low sofas and pod chairs exude casual style, with their organic shapes and natural fibres alluding to seashore elements.

All 145 rooms are artfully designed and crafted from luxe materials to create an inspiring yet comforting atmosphere. The marine inspiration continues with the natural cerulean or aquamarine blue hues evident. The woven leather headboards evoke the tangle of fishing nets and seaweed on the ocean floor, with glossy greens and glints of gold and intermixed hints of sand and coral. The colours and patterns of seashells are recreated in the washbasins, while mirrored elements and iridescent tiles conjure up the interplay of water and light. A handmade, colourful and friendly Pattaya squid pillow – the delightful mascot of the resort – awaits on guest room beds.

Veranda Na Jomtien’s guest room offerings start with the spacious 34 sqm Seascape Double-Twin or King rooms with their own four sqm balconies overlooking the gardens. Seascape Ocean View rooms, as the name suggests, have the bonus of sea views. Larger Seabreeze rooms (45 sqm) blend the bathroom and bedroom with an in-room bathtub as a centrepiece. Once again, Double-Twin or King room configurations are available. Each room’s balcony is an ideal place to catch the ocean breeze.

Overlooking the resort’s pool, Oceanfront rooms have spectacular sea and island views through the ceiling-to-floor glass-panelled doors. At 40 sqm, there is space to spread out, including on the oversized King bed. The large in-room and oceanfront bathtub means you can soak while enjoying uninterrupted views.

If travelling with kids, the Family Pool Villas at a combined 76 sqm, including the 11-meter balcony complete with a private plunge pool, are an ideal option. There is a private master bedroom with an oversized king, while the Kid’s room features bunk beds, a work/play table, and a privacy curtain off the spacious lounge area.

Sky Pool Villas are expansive ocean-facing 2-level suites featuring a king-sized bedroom and ensuite on each level. The lower level also offers a comfortable lounge room with a private plunge pool on the deck. Complete with ocean views, these are an ideal choice for friends travelling together. Luxurious Thann bathroom products are available in all guest rooms.

The Deck restaurant offers all-day dining at the oceanfront end of the resort. Enjoy breakfast, lunchtime snacks or evening meals in the alfresco dining zone or indoors. The sound of gently cascading water from the infinity pool and the refreshing ocean breeze through the undercover outdoor area reinforces the on-holiday beach escape feel.
Adjacent to the Lobby, the Glass Expresso Bar can be a quiet escape, a casual get-together with friends, or a spot to catch up on emails and connect with the team if working remotely. Waves Pool Bar is ready to provide refreshments and light snacks for those lounging around the resort’s pool zone or beachfront lawns.

On the fourth floor above the resort’s oceanfront rooms is ISEA Sky Bar & Restaurant. Open from 5 pm till late, the expansive, comfortably furnished outdoor terrace of ISEA Sky is perfect for watching the sunset or the moon rise. Enjoy a refreshing beverage while lingering over tapas-style small plates. Fresh, local seafood is a key element of ISEA Sky’s signature dishes, with fusion flavours transforming essential ingredients into mouth-watering meals. The light-filled and timber-toned indoor dining, or continuing on the outdoor terrace, are the tough choices you will need to make when dinner time arrives.

On the rooftop immediately above ISEA Sky is The Jetty. The resort’s ultimate dining venue. The Jetty’s decking is built around sunken dining tables and surrounded and separated by shimmering water features. The night sky above and the subtle strategically placed lighting add to the ambience. A wooden walkway with glass barriers juts out from the rooftop creating the perfect place for those ‘Instagrammable’ sunset photos. With a limited number of tables and lots of space, The Jetty is an exceptional memory-making dining experience.

If there is one Resort facility above all others instilling the “lifestyle by the sea” ethos, that would have to be its oceanfront infinity pool. Essentially, two pools separated by a sculptured stepping stone walkway. The main free-form pool is with sunken jacuzzi bench seats, and in-water settees invite socialising. The second more square-shaped pool has an adjoining kids pool. Both pools have large cabanas with day beds for complete relaxation.

The Let’s Relax on-site Spa offers a full range of services, while the modern gym is available for those needing to release further energy. The resort also boasts modern meeting and conference facilities with a capacity for a sit-down dinner of 140 in the main conference room and 40 in the combined meeting rooms. The Resorts’ oceanfront lawns lend themselves to outdoor wedding ceremonies or intimate evening cocktail parties.

Whether planning a short break from the city or a longer vacation, Veranda Resort Na Jomtien – MGallery is the ideal getaway for enjoying that tropical “lifestyle by the sea”.
